About Us & Who We Are

The founder of Asian Focus (AF), Lily Chan, with a team of hard working volunteers uses their extensive experiences in social work to reach out to the Asian immigrant population that is steadily growing in the Triangle area of North Carolina. Lily’s passion has inspired Asian Focus’ programs of educating the Asian community in hopes of fostering greater interaction and understanding within a culturally-diverse community.

Asian focus is a non-profit organization whose mission is to serve the underserved. Asian Focus hopes to achieve its goals by helping families overcome cultural and language barriers to better acclimate into US society. The organization hopes to bridge the gaps of disparity for the community by focusing on service projects that yield immediate results, while also planting seeds of good will for future generations.
